Know where you’re at and where you’re going

Employee health factors like obesity, smoking, lack of exercise and poor nutrition lead to increased insurance premiums and overall insurance costs. These are all factors that can be changed, leading to healthier employees and lower insurance premiums.

The Very Well™ process starts with a detailed health assessment of every participating employee. A comprehensive questionnaire is completed by each employee and is reviewed by a registered nurse. A detailed breakdown of the results is then provided, presented in easy-to-read charts, which cites current risk factors and goals that should be met to lower insurance premiums.

Armed with this information, Very Well™ then works with you to develop a comprehensive action plan, uniquely designed to address the needs of your organization. For example, the risk factor data could indicate that an area of company concern is a high risk for obesity-related diseases. In a case like this, your solution may include steps as simple as switching vending machine products to healthier choices. You might also choose to work with your Very Well™ Coaches to encourage employees to make time for daily exercise.
