Christine Zink, MD, is a medical writer and physician with a broad range of medical expertise. As a 15-year emergency physician, she has medical knowledge extending from newborns to geriatrics and minor medical complaints to critical care. She graduated from the University of Nebraska and worked abroad as an infectious disease medical educator in Kenya and Ghana. She attended medical school at Weill Cornell Medical College and completed an emergency medicine residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.

Previously, she worked in academics at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where she honed skills in teaching, creating educational content, and leadership. She also worked clinically and taught medical skills in remote environments, such as rural Ethiopia. She is fellowship-trained in wilderness and field medicine, so she knows creative medical practices. 

Over the last several years, she transitioned her career to full-time medical writing. Her writing focus recently includes oncologic manuscripts and informational material, medical student and emergency medicine education, and health care blogs.
