Elizabeth Morrill, RN, began her nursing career in the Emergency Room. After her husband's work took the family to Guatemala for his career with the Foreign Service, Elizabeth looked for other ways to serve patients. She discovered health writing and found that it allows her to reach thousands of patients with clear, actionable, and evidence-based information that empowers individuals to take charge of their own wellbeing.


Elizabeth has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Georgetown University School of Nursing as well as a Masters of Health Sciences (MHS) from The Johns Hopkins School of Public Health specializing in behavioral interventions. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Tufts University with a dual major in English and Clinical Psychology. In addition to her university studies, Elizabeth researched health and marginalization as a Fulbright Student Scholar to Bosnia-Herzegovina and a Senior Fellow in the Dutch Program as part of Humanity in Action.
