A frequent media spokesperson, Dr. Peterson has been a frequent guest on The Today Show and has appeared on several programs including The Rachael Ray Show, Dr. Oz, The Dr. Steve Show, PIX11 News, Tyra Banks Show, Good Morning America, America’s Newsroom, America’s News HQ, Neil Cavuto, CNN American Morning and Nancy Grace.
With a demonstrated commitment to the advancement of medicine, Dr. Peterson has contributed to several publications in leading medical and scientific journals including the prominent American Journal of Medicine and has presented at distinguished medical symposiums. She authored the e-book Sexy Ever After: Intimacy Post-Cancer and contributed to the book What Doctors Eat.
Dr. Peterson obtained her bachelor of arts from Cornell University and received her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She completed post-graduate training in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City and is board certified in internal medicine.
