Lillian Anglada started her patient advocacy work in 1992. The Alliance for Positive Change was hosting an 8-week Peer Leadership Training Program to empower a person living with HIV to educate and help their community. She graduated from the program in 1993 as a Peer Educator in Women's health. She hosted safe-sex training and support groups for women with HIV. She also hosted Life-Affirming events such as holiday dances and Mother's Day of Pampering. Lillian works hard to make sure Women of Color get access to health resources and information.
