Luis Cordero, MD, is currently a physician advisor at Dallas Veteran Affairs Medical Center (DVAMC) and the head of the Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Inpatient program. Dr. Cordero has also worked as an attending physician at DVAMC from July 2010 to June 2013 and as an assistant professor at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He has also worked as a hospitalist at the DVAMC.
Dr. Cordero earned his Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology and immunology, and graduated with Honors from the University of Miami. Dr. Cordero attended medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and earned his postgraduate degree from the University of Texas Southwestern.
