Lyndsey Garbi, MD, is double board-certified in neonatology and pediatrics. She serves as an assistant professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and practices within the Northwell Health System. Additionally, she is an active member within the American Academy of Pediatrics and serves as chief pediatrician at Blueberry Pediatrics, a pediatric telehealth and after-hours pediatric care company.
Dr. Garbi is co-author of a publication on palliation in the delivery room and her special interests are in pain and palliation of the neonate. She is currently running a randomized-control trial to provide her field with more data on pain medications available for her patient population and has presented preliminary data across the country.
Dr. Garbi completed her undergraduate work at Emory University and graduated medical school from the Sackler School of Medicine, New York State/American Program of Tel Aviv University, in 2010. She completed her pediatric residency at Cohen Children’s Hospital in 2013 and her fellowship in neonatology at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center in 2016. Also in 2016, she obtained a certificate in pediatric bioethics via the Children's Mercy Center for Bioethics in Kansas City, where she studied under world-renowned ethicists and medical caregivers.
