Mark Stibich, PhD, is a behavior change expert with experience helping individuals make lasting lifestyle changes.
As a researcher, Dr. Stibich has worked in Russia, Afghanistan, Mongolia, and Tajikistan to study how high risk behavior links to health, particularly in the area of HIV and drug use. He has also conducted research on the impact of acupuncture on health and examined the impact of lifestyle and attitude on chronic health conditions.
As a consultant, Dr. Stibich works with companies in Houston, Texas, and with individuals around the world to help people make lasting changes to their habits that are focused on success and benefits. He applies a range of techniques from the behavioral and health sciences to assist clients in making healthy behavior "second nature." Vitality Skills, his newest venture, will provide an online tool for corporations to help their employees live longer and better. He also consults on research studies examining high-risk behavior and health.
Dr. Stibich received his PhD in health behavior from the Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health.
