Regina C. Windsor, MPH, RDN, is an avid learner, explorer, and systems-oriented thinker. As a writer and editor, she likes to speak to the heart of the matter and strives to help her audience empower themselves. Regina is comfortable discussing health and medical information with a broad audience with a background in the humanities, the sciences, population health, and clinical nutrition.
Regina's educational background followed an arts and humanities trajectory, with a degree in International Studies - Spanish Literature and Culture from Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont. A stint at National Geographic kindled her passion for combining exploration, connection across cultures, and storytelling. She pursued further formal training in the sciences and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and International Health. Regina successfully collaborated with diverse public health and medical research teams in Birmingham, Alabama. Following this, she worked in research and medical publishing in integrative medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. In 2020, Regina obtained an additional degree (Nutrition and Dietetics) from the University of Northern Colorado. In 2021, she completed her dietetic internship with community garden experiences and clinical nutrition rotations at UCHealth and the University of Colorado Medicine, Denver. Through her studies and work, she strives to address issues that inform well-being, including the determinants of health, sustainability, and the interconnectedness of things.
