Sherri Gordon, CLC is the author of nearly 30 books for young readers. Her book on food allergies—Peanut Butter, Milk, and Other Deadly Threats—was honored as an Outstanding Science Trade Book for Students K-12. She has countless years of experience researching and writing articles on health and social issues including everything from bullying prevention and healthy relationships to sleep apnea, health conditions, and general wellness.

When Sherri is not busy writing, she volunteers with various community groups that help support those who struggle with food insecurity. She also assists schools and other groups in developing bullying prevention programs.
