For two decades, Dr. Stacia Alexander has been a highly experienced psychotherapist, running her own private mental health practice. Through her leadership, more than 17,000 individuals and families have benefited from the programs she has implemented in her community. Dr. Alexander holds positions as the Director of Paul Quinn College’s Mental Health Clinic and as a graduate-level professor, advocating for mental health education, particularly in underrepresented communities. Her openness about going through medically-induced menopause has prompted important discussions on the mental health implications of menopause, especially among women who have been inadequately informed about its emotional impact.
Dr. Alexander received her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Walden University. She also has a master's in Counseling Psychology from Amberton University.
