She has also held editorial positions at CBS, NBC, and BBC America.
Her work at The Weather Channel has received a number of awards, including the 2018 Science in Society Journalism Award for Science Reporting; the 2018 Sigma Delta Chi Award for Specialized Journalism Site; the 2017 Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Broadcast News Site; 2016 and 2017 National Headliner Awards; and the 2017 New York Press Club Journalism Award. In 2014, she was awarded The Weather Channel Leadership Award.
She is passionate about climate and environmental issues, health, and wellness. She is based in New York City.
Stephanie earned a master's degree in journalism from New York University, completed the Women's Leadership Program at Yale School of Management, and received her bachelor's degree from Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines.
